Marketing Consulting

99.5% of the people on social media who claim to be an expert, are clowns.  Make sure they can back it up.

What's a Business Consultant?

What is a Business Consultant?

A business consultant is a professional who provides business advice for businesses in a particular area, such as, Marketing, Sales, IT, Manufacturing, Management, Finance, Law, Human Resources, Branding, or any other specific field related to the internal workings and needs of a business.

A business consultant is usually an expert who should have vast experience and knowledge in an area that a client is looking for assistance with. They are usually employed as a contractor directly by a company or through an outside firm or agency. Consulting expertise is usually provided on a temporary basis, for a fee. Business consultants generally engage with multiple businesses and clients in various markets and niches. These varying experiences can provide added value to clients who lack expert knowledge outside their core niche.

The overall impact of a consultant is that clients have access to deeper levels of expertise than would be feasible for them to retain in-house, and may purchase only as much service from the outside consultant as desired.

There is no single qualification or accreditation to be a consultant except for advice related to medicine & engineering. Qualifying a business consultant should be decided upon by the overseeing manager or owner of the hiring company to ensure that hiring an "expert" business consultant yields results.
